No Moment Of Rest

Very Bad Indeed
Many youths spend their precious time, doing irrelevant things that add no value to their spiritual life and heavenly worth. They are the foolish virgins Jesus spoke about in the parable of the ten virgins, because:
  1. They are always busy pressing the phones.

  2. They are always making calls or answering phone calls.

  3. They are either expecting a call or waiting to making another call.

  4. They spend the day watching streams of video films of all kinds of evils: violence, rape, murder, cultism, idolatry, fraud, war, horror, etc.

  5. From the videos they turn their attention to the radio studios.

  6. From there, they are tuning in into the television stations, all over the world.

  7. Many spend their night periods watching footballs and shouting rounds of ovations, whenever a stylish display is made or a goal is scored.

  8. Very erroneously, some sleep in music. They keep the music playing, even so loudly, all through the night, while they sleep.

  9. Others would start a generating that is very noisy and discomforting, at night when people should be having quiet time and sleeping to rest and refresh themsleves.

  10. They do not consider the feelings and emotions of others before and while doing whatever they want to do.

  11. They wake up late in the morning. Imagine a youth getting up from the bed at 10:00am or 11:00am.

  12. The next thing, they dash outside, without sweeping the compound and without clearing the refuse or cutting the overgrown grasses.

  13. They return late at night, even so noisily, because they come back with their phones playing loud music, video or another.

  14. They do this often, without due respect to their seniors and the elderly.

  15. Imagine a youth coming into the house where there are doctors, engineers, lawyers, professors or office workers, without showing any respect by being gently walking in.

  16. And immediately he is inside the room, the next you hear is that he has switched on the music or video at a high volume, even so in the night. What a madness!

  17. All these they top up with only one stylish movement that is becoming very common – stepping out of a car and placing the phone to the ear, as if that is the most important thing to do.

  18. They have not time for personal or family prayers. They sleep off from their phones, and wake up to the screens of the social networks: Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Instagram, etc, as if there is no God.

  19. Even while inside the busses, many are busy chatting with so many friends, colleagues and associates. People have no time to give rest to their souls.

  20. At gatherings, they behave like children with bad home training, without minding the very important personalities that are there present. They come in wearing all kinds of indecent dresses that are best described as the carelessness of the wild demons on the stage.

  21. Even in our every day environments and neighbourhood, it is the same ugly situations. The music shops, video rentals or business jingles are producing all kinds of noisy vibrations, booming sounds and bombarding music into the environment, disturbing the peace of the environment and the quietness of the moments. All these sounds and vibrations are what the evil spirits and demons to push and pull humanity into the hell fire, without people knowing it.

  22. What a hectic world that are steadily and blindly trooping enmass into the hell fire, without knowing it 23. Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

The Misplaced Priority
Generally, the youths fail and refuse to understand that the precious times they waste, in all forms of worldliness, are the very time they should spend:
  1. To rest and to sleep.

  2. On prayers and supplications.

  3. In observing quiet times and meditations.

  4. By reading very important books.

  5. In studying and practising Spiritual Science.

  6. In reading sacred texts.

  7. In thinking over their past lives and scheming for better performance in all areas of their endeavours, in self-examination.

  8. In spiritual visits to heaven, called astral travel.

  9. On researches and updates.

  10. In preparing for rapture.

  11. In reading and obeying the end time messages and warnings from God.

  12. Etc, etc, etc.

Negligence
Nobody cares about his soul. None asks himself, “From where did I come into this world?” None asks himself, “Where shall I go after my death?” They live as if there is no God. As if God is not interested in their lives. As if God has not sent them to work here on earth? As if they shall not be later called to account for their earthly lives and assignments?

Carelessness
The use of handsets and smart phones make people break every form of protocol or formality. Here are few of the wrong and bad practices:
  1. Unexpectedly, somebody enters an office, removes the office devices already plugged into sockets, and plugs in his own phone, even without asking for permission.

  2. Suddenly, you see an outside at the manager’s table, trying to plug in his phone into the socket for charging the battery. This is what an educated citizen, or well trained person, should not even attempt at all.

  3. Some are so callous and disrespectful that they sit on the seat of the executive manager or lean on his table, while plugging in their handsets into the power sockets. What a show of disrespect and dishonour.

  4. Sometimes, you see a new person, completely a stranger, inside the office. Already, he is moving from one corner to another, without permission or notification, searching for a socket to plug his phone into. This type of behaviour is evil, very bad indeed, and does not speak well of a personality.

  5. The worst aspect is that he brings not only his own phone. He has that of his father, that of his mother, two other phones belonging to his brother and sister.

  6. Some are even bold, and daring enough, to bring extension wire or multiple sockets. And before you know it, he has already plugged in the extension, with several phones connected to it. Without considering whether the generator can withstand all the devices connected to it.

  7. Many youths forget the work they are employed to do in their offices, companies or workplaces, in their bid to browse the Internet or play their phones.

  8. Before you know it, he has relaxed in a corner, busy pressing the phones, either watching the video posts or pictures. He does this when there are so many tasks waiting to be done in the office or company.

  9. Many girls would come to work, and would not sweep the office or do clean up. They would drop their bags, and then sit down to keep themselves busy pressing the phones. She does not care that the louvers are not cleaned up, that the refuse basket is full and disgusting, that the tables are dusty. She does not want to know and does not care.

  10. At times, and very disappointingly, the manager or employer is calling the attention or name of an office worker. But, the paid worker has earphones to his ears. He is, silently and busy, listening to music, paying an audio or watching the video, to the neglect of office communications and responsibilities, which require prompt attention and immediate responses.

  11. The worst of all, they are prone to coming late to work, being many days absent from duty without prior notice or keep themselves idle while many office tasks are waiting to be done or completed.

  12. Etc.
